Yecla is a charming town in southeastern Spain known for its rich wine-making tradition, vibrant cultural heritage and thriving furniture industry.

  • Enhanced skills for the twin transition, through the delivery of NES learning toolkit.
  • Creation of collaborative network involving SMEs, educational institutions and policymakers to promote knowledge exchange and innovation.
  • Empowerment of local training providers to deliver customized learning pathways.

Miguel Miñano Núñez

Industrial Engineer with an MBA in Business Management and a Master’s in Industry 4.0. 20 years of professional experience in the construction, technology, energy, and R&D sectors. From 2005 to 2010, he primarily worked on renewable energy construction projects (biofuels, solar) in Spain and other European countries. Since 2010, he has been involved in R&D&I in the natural stone, smart cities, waste collection technology management and accessibility sectors, mainly focusing on the integration of technological innovation into various industries. He is currently part of the Innovation Area at MIWenergia.

I support NewEcoSmart because it aligns with my commitment to integrating technological innovation into industries to drive sustainable development. With my background in renewable energy, R&D and innovation across sectors like construction, smart cities and waste management, I believe NES plays a crucial role in promoting green and digital transformation, especially in rural areas.
