Pilots of the NewEcoSmart Project Officially Begin in Europe

 

The highly anticipated NewEcoSmart (NES) project pilots are underway! Over the coming months, the towns of Yecla (Spain), Montemor-o-Velho (Portugal), and Pacentro (Italy) will serve as testing grounds to validate the NES approach, fostering sustainability and innovation in rural communities.

In support of this initiative, the NewEcoSmart Learning Toolkit is now available, providing innovative tools to empower individuals and small businesses, particularly those aged 45+, in their journey toward digital and green transformation and entrepreneurship. In NES Learning Toolkit the participants will find: 

NES MOOC (Massive Open Online Course)
The NES MOOC is designed to offer accessible, high-quality education tailored to the evolving needs of rural communities. Covering topics like sustainability, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and essential soft skills, this course helps participants adapt to the demands of the modern workforce. Its flexible, online structure ensures learners can study at their own pace, making it particularly suitable for individuals balancing work and family responsibilities. NES Microlearning Tool
