On 11 October, Juliana Louceiro from SHINE presented the NewEcoSmart project during the International Gerontology Days 2024 conference. Her presentation, entitled ‘Promoting active and healthy living through co-operation: Stakeholder involvement in innovative projects’, highlighted the project’s innovative approach to promoting green and digital transition and social entrepreneurship through the active involvement of stakeholders.
Juliana described the stakeholder mapping process at the start of the project and shared the plans for the pilot implementations. She also highlighted the Open Call for NewEcoSmart, which is accepting applications until 5 December 2024, inviting organisations and individuals to contribute to the success of the project.
SHINE is proud to share NewEcoSmart’s progress, activities and results at this event, promoting conversation about innovative solutions for sustainability and well-being. The conference, co-organised by the University of Debrecen and the Faculty of Social Wellbeing of the University of Malta, provided an excellent platform for the exchange of ideas on promoting active and healthy living, especially in the context of ageing societies.
